Rose came to us from a high kill shelter that had confiscated her from her owner for neglete.  She had a very large cancerous tumor on a front paw that was left untreated so long it actually dissolved the bone of one toe.  We removed it and she healed nicely.  Rose is very happy here at the sanctuary.
